The adjustments to an image are only virtual, i.e. the original data are not changed. Only a "recipe" is created, which can be stored in the database. Only the color and brightness values of the pixels of the image can be changed by various algorithms.
By using masks, however, it is possible, for example, to partially darken or lighten an image.
For "real" image processing we recommend to use an external, specialized program. FotoARRAY offers perfect possibilities to integrate or control such specialized programs.
